MSME Minister Rane assures Jammu MSMEs to quickly resolve outstanding industry issues
Jammu, September 17 (KNN) Narayan Tatu Rane, Hon’ble Union Minister Micro Small & Medium Enterprises Govt. from India visited the Bari Brahmana Industries Association during their visit to Samba district as part of the central government’s ongoing public awareness program.

While welcoming the Honorable Minister of the Union, Lalit Mahajan, the President of BBIA expressed his warmest thanks to the government. of India working under the able leadership of the Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the granting of tax incentives of Rs. 28,400 Crores for the industrial sector of J&K.
A delegation of office workers and members of the Association of Industries of Bari Brahmana under the chairmanship of Lalit Mahajan highlighted the various issues related to the industrial sector for the kind consideration of Narayan Tatu Rane.
These issues include the extension of the 300% gross GST rebate to existing MSME units at par with the government. of industrial development program 2021. Relief of J & K’s existing MSME industrial sector during current COVID-19 situation. Mandatory purchase by central government. / Union Territory of J&K Departments, road freight reimbursement for the shipment of industrial goods to the domestic market as well as for export from the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir
And also, shortage of non-agricultural land for industrial purposes for external investors, creation of industrial parks / SEZs to promote exports in the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir and creation of a mini tool room .
It is relevant to mention here that the 63 million units of the MSME sector in our country working under the competent leadership of the Honorable Union Minister and contributing 30% of GDP and providing jobs at approx. 100 million people, making it the second largest source of employment after the agricultural sector.
Lalit Mahajan presented a souvenir to the guest of honor as a sign of respect.
The Union Minister assured the delegation to solve the problems related to the industrial sector as soon as possible for rapid industrial growth in our state which will provide jobs for the local unemployed young people of the state.
